Just recognize that lighning is an important point to enhance the renderings.

Done in MentalRay with 2 Mr-arealights
no really great work i know but important for me to learn 'bout.
So i be glad for every advise that u can give!

not much more than a minute (mentalray) with a "lowtech" pc (1,7Ghz SINGLE CORE !! =P 1024Mb Ram ) if u want i can sent u the lightparameter

Blimey fair play. I'm good actually. I've got a few tests like these that I've done myself, probably in a very similar fashion to the way you are learning.

Not bad at all... I like the lighting set-up :thumbsup: Only thing I might try is adding some HDRI ( [link] or [link] )... are you using GI and FG?? A very good start! :D

It is very good! Maybe you can add a soft back light, but it is great this way ^_^

um... i find a good basic setup is one back light...no shadows...medium intensity....

2 side lights... low intensity.... no shadows...

and your scene lighting..... shadows on.... just balance them till you get if right.... maybe only use one side light and bring it forwards a bit.... depends what you want to achieve :D
